2015 B2V Final Results - Team OC

Another year and another B2V Relay Race are behind us.  It was another weekend in the desert of hot days, cold nights, blood, sweat, tears, pride, honor, and camaraderie.  Your Team OC had a great race running in the ultra competitive Mixed category.  We entered the race as team #257 based on our 2014 official race time of 22 hours and 18 minutes.  After completing the 2015 race in 19 hours and 42 minutes we will run the 2016 race as team #221.  We were able to shave off 2 hours and 36 minutes off our time and move up 36 spots!

This team has been involved in B2V for the last three years.  Initially as an all women's team known as the Desert Divas.  In 2014 (Divas & Dudes) and 2015 (Team OC) they moved into the Mixed category.  No matter which category we run in, we could not do it without the support of our volunteers, follow vehicle drivers, steering committee, family, co-workers, friends and our department's executive management team.  You all support us by buying t-shirts and other apparel and by participating in our annual golf tournament and bowling event.

You can view the official times of our individual runners below.
We have also included a few photos from race weekend.

Stay tuned for our upcoming fundraisers as we get set for B2V 2016 - March 19th and 20th.
Thank you for your continued support!

Athlete Profile - 2014 Police and Fire Games - Caroline C., Paul F., and Carlos R.

This past summer members of the B2V OC Baker to Vegas team also participated in the 2014 United States Police and Fire Championships in San Diego, California.  Carlos R. participated in the grappling event and for the third year in a row brought home a Gold Medal!  Also representing the Department were Paul F. and Caroline C.  This was Paul's first time participating at the US Police and Fire Championships grappling event and got a few matches under his belt.  Caroline participated in the Throw Down event.  This was Caroline's first ever competition and she put out a great effort.

Our department has some amazing athletes that participate in a wide variety of sports and competitions.  Please join B2V OC in congratulating and applauding Carlos, Paul and Caroline for their accomplishments!

Take a look at the pictures below of Carlos and Caroline participating in their events and Carlos showing off his gold medal.
